Our 3rd annual education conference, “Techniques for Success”, will be held on Saturday November 5, 2011 at the Great Frederick Fair in Frederick, Maryland. This conference, co-sponsored by DSNMC and F.R.I.E.N.D.S. of Frederick, is designed to provide educators (teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, administrators, homeschooling parents) and interested professionals (therapists) with practical tips and strategies on educating students with Down syndrome. Past TFS conferences have received amazing reviews from participants, and although we will have larger capacity this year than last year, space is still limited. Please encourage your child’s educators to register for this important conference, free-of-charge, at http://friendsoffredco.org/. Like last year, we will be keeping a list of parents who would like to attend and will let you know as the date gets closer if we have space available, so please register ASAP if you are interested in order to secure your spot on the parent list!
